The Handweavers Guild of Peoria, Inc. was formed to promote handweaving, spinning, and fiber arts. Monthly programs include guest speakers on weaving and related fiber arts. Throughout the year the guild has workshops in basic and advanced techniques, study groups, weaving exchanges, and demonstrations for weaving and related arts. The guild also exhibits at fairs and provides demonstrations for area schools and for the general public.
